2025 is the year of AI Agents
This year (2024) was about AI reasoning capability. Next year will be about AI Agents.
AI Agents will sit on top of multiple tools and collaborate with other AI Agents. 🤯
What is an AI Agent? It is Your Automated Task Doer.
What it is: At its simplest form, an AI agent is like a personal assistant that not only listens to your instructions but can also figure out and carry out a series of tasks on its own.
How it works: Instead of just waiting for you to give commands, an AI agent might:
Know what you need ahead of time.
Automatically coordinate between systems (like pulling data from your calendar, CRM, or email).
Execute tasks without constant input, like setting up meetings, managing your emails, or monitoring inventory.
Example: You tell an AI agent, "Plan a customer outreach campaign for this product." The agent could:
Gather customer data from your CRM.
Draft tailored emails for different customer groups.
Schedule follow-ups and track responses.
Report back with insights—without needing step-by-step guidance from you.
Of course, keeping humans in the loop to approve steps along the way.
