AI in Human Resources
I had the honor of presenting at the HR Collaborative Conference this week. Here is a brief recap of the tips that I shared with them.
A few use cases for HR to leverage AI:
Brainstorming
Write Policies
Write job descriptions (also include artificial intelligence in the job description) In a recent Indeed search for jobs in a 50 mile radius of Cincinnati, there were only 187 jobs that had the term “artificial intelligence” versus San Fransico which had over 1840 jobs. We have some work to do. Run a search in your city and let me know what you see.
Write Onboarding plans Exit Interview
Write the Employee handbook and build a GPT to ask questions to the handbook.
Write Performance reviews
Summary or analyzing reports
Translation for any content or videos (HeyGen)
Recruiting-interview questions, evaluation, career pages,
LMS-videos, scripts
Training and development-facilitation plans, surveys, quizzes
Writing assistance for the massive amount of emails you are managing.
HR Prompt Examples to get you started:
1.Recruitment and Onboarding:
1."Can you generate a list of interview questions for a project manager position?"
2."Please provide a step-by-step onboarding guide for new hires in our IT department."

2."Explain our company's health benefits package."

2."List some virtual team-building activities suitable for remote teams."
6. HR Analytics:
1."What are key indicators of employee engagement that I should track?"
2."Create a report format for analyzing monthly turnover rates."
7. Diversity and Inclusion:
