Some fun updates with ChatGPT! You may notice this new format—they're slowly rolling it out. If you're new and just getting started, you'll see some pre-prompts available. For example, if you hit "Create Image," it will ask if you'd like to create an image for a presentation, your pet, your website, or whatever else you need. You can explore the options.
You can also say, "Help me write," and it provides examples to help with adoption and usage, giving you ideas instead of facing a blank prompt window. It even allows you to summarize anything. You can attach a file and then ask it to summarize the content.
There are lots of exciting features: you can code, analyze data, and brainstorm—one of my favorite uses.
Another update is the new feature called Canvas, which is still in beta. It feels a lot like Claude, which I love using when formatting or coding. It's great to see it in action. Let's play around with Canvas! I’m going to build something simple, like a little quiz with three columns: "Behind," "On Track," and "Ahead" in different categories. That way, each section can be scored.
As it starts formatting, you get a nice layout that you can use. You can hover over different areas and even write inside them. It also suggests edits and allows you to adjust the length, making the text longer or shorter, and even select a reading level—whether college, high school, or middle school.
You can add ideas as well—there’s a section for brainstorming. You can make adjustments and add emojis, too. It's really fun to experiment with all these features.
Now, I’m going to add a score column. It redoes the formatting, and it looks perfect! You can also add other categories like change management, budget allocation, performance, integration, and governance—those are great additions.
Once you're done, you can easily copy the content, save it, and paste it into a Word document or a landing page—whatever you need.

A year ago, what began as a simple LinkedIn post “Where are my AI enthusiasts in Greater Cincinnati?” sparked something truly extraordinary. Over 13,000 views and 200+ comments later, on October 17, 2023, we held our first CincyAI for Humans (CincyAI) community meeting, and from that day, we’ve been on an incredible journey.
I can’t express how grateful I am for my amazing co-host, Helen Todd (Human), without whom this wouldn’t have been possible. Together, we’ve witnessed the magic that happens when brilliant minds gather from AI curious, business leaders navigating AI and AI builders. The impact has led to partnerships, business launches, job and client opportunities, and hiring to moments of shared learning—our community is the epitome of collaboration and support.
With over 1,000 members and 180 speakers in the past year, we’ve grown into the largest AI community in Ohio. We’re so thankful for the partnership of UC Digital Futures and Kelly Cohen, as well as our sponsors, Seven Hills Technology and Big Kitty Labs, for stepping up and helping us host these free events.
