How I use AI daily
AI is an integral part of my daily routine, helping me enhance creativity, productivity, and decision-making. Here’s how I use AI every day, with prompts to inspire similar uses in your own routine. Of course, I don’t have to provide details about the audience I am writing for as the AI already has details about my business and who we serve. Make sure to include your audience and what you specialize in so the prompts are specific to your needs.
Don’t view AI as another thing to do or another thing on your plate. AI is integrated throughout my whole day. Not one more task to my list of things to do.
My top 10 ways I use AI daily:
1. Brainstorming & Idea Generation (this is my number one and do it the most often) It is my second brain.
AI acts as my creative partner, helping me explore different angles and generate new ideas quickly. I lay out my thoughts and then ask what else should I consider.
Prompt Example: "Help me brainstorm five creative marketing ideas for a B2B company focused on AI adoption."
2. Writing & Content Creation
From blogs to reports, AI speeds up my writing process, helping me structure thoughts and refine messaging. I have a ton of ideas and thoughts so I love processing them with AI.
Prompt Example: "Write a blog introduction about how AI can improve employee engagement in small businesses."
3. Building Training and Speaking Programs
AI helps me outline training modules or programs, suggest interactive exercises, and even generate quizzes, making my training sessions more dynamic. Also, speaker descriptions and key takeaways for my session to give to the event leaders for marketing of the event.
Prompt Example: "Create an outline for a 30-minute AI training session for mid-level managers, focusing on AI in decision-making."
4. Emails & Communication
AI assists in drafting and personalizing emails, saving time and ensuring clear communication.
Prompt Example: "Write a professional email to a client, confirming the delivery of our latest AI project report and next steps."
5. Transcribing Meetings
AI tools make it easy to transcribe meetings, ensuring I never miss important details and can focus on the discussion.
Prompt Example: "Summarize the key points from the following meeting transcript on project timelines and deliverables."
6. Summarizing Reports
AI helps me quickly digest long reports by summarizing key insights, allowing me to act more efficiently.
Prompt Example: "Summarize this 10-page report on AI implementation in operations management, focusing on the benefits and challenges."
7. Breaking Down Complex Topics
AI simplifies complex topics into digestible parts, helping me learn and teach new concepts faster. I also will learn on the fly. When I am listening to a tech speaker present, they may share a concept and I will take a picture and upload it to AI and ask for it to be broken down into steps or a questionnaire from the information being presented.
Prompt Example: "Explain the concept of neural networks in simple terms for a beginner-level audience that are not technical."
8. Research & Discovery
AI assists in gathering relevant data and analyzing trends, helping me discover insights for my projects or speaking engagements.
Prompt Example: "Research the latest trends in AI adoption within the manufacturing sector and summarize key takeaways."
9. Learning & Upskilling
AI suggests courses, articles, and resources that help me stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in AI.
Prompt Example: "Recommend the latest articles or courses on AI implementation practices for business leaders."
10. Decision Support
AI assists in analyzing data and offering insights, helping me make faster, more informed decisions.
Prompt Example: "Analyze this dataset on sales performance and suggest three strategies to increase scalability for the next quarter."
Many other ways I use AI but these are the things I use daily.
